Anyway, I'm also currently reading Lisa Papademetriou's "Sixth Grade: Gloomers, Norks and Me". And, gosh, it's one of the best books I've read since Kathryn Lasky's "Born To Rule". That was another awesome book about a girl going to Camp Princess and having exciting adventures. Well, "Six Grade: Gloomers, Norks and Me" is about a girl name Allie Kimball going to sixth grade. At first, she didn't found it so hard. But then, their former archenemy, Renee decides to befriend her best friend, Tam. And suddenly, Tam turns into a gloomer like Renee, too. Will Allie survive the entire school year or get lost in the jungle called "sixth grade"? This is really a good book. I'm already in the middle part of the book. Plus, what makes it unique is that it has it's own dictionary per chappie with really unique words that makes the book [and the author] stand out from the rest. Read and you'll soon find out that your middle school life isn't so bad after all. Or maybe, not much worse than Allie's experience.
